Important note on the fully online program
This package is more expensive than the on-campus option and does not require the student to be in North Macedonia. However, having been physically present in the country during the period of study is among the criteria examined in YÖK's equivalence assessment. If you plan to obtain equivalence in Türkiye, we strongly recommend confirming current conditions from YÖK's official sources before choosing this option.
Fees are taken from the university's 2025-2026 promotional material and represent annual tuition. Accommodation, living costs, insurance, residence permit fees and document costs are not included. Amounts may change; the current fee is confirmed with the university before applying.
Diploma recognition: let's be clear
Institutional recognition is not the same as diploma equivalence
International Vision University appears on YÖK's list of recognized foreign higher education institutions, which means the institution is recognized. Granting equivalence to a graduate's diploma is a separate matter: after graduation an application is made to YÖK on an individual basis, and the decision rests entirely with YÖK. No university or consultancy can guarantee equivalence.
Being physically present in the country matters
In YÖK's equivalence assessment, whether the applicant was physically present in the country during the period of study is examined. The difference between on-campus study and fully online study is therefore not merely a preference; it can directly affect the equivalence outcome. We recommend confirming current conditions from YÖK's official sources before choosing a program.
Recognition in Europe is assessed country by country
There are examples of recognition/comparability statements the university has obtained from Germany, Switzerland and Türkiye. These are individual documents issued as a result of those persons' applications; they are not a rule that automatically applies to every graduate. There is no mechanism providing automatic or direct diploma equivalence across Europe; each country assesses separately through its own recognition body (the ENIC-NARIC network).

Is enrollment possible without an entrance exam?+
Admission requirements at universities in North Macedonia work differently from Türkiye's central examination system; many programs accept applications with a high school diploma and the required documents. The admission decision, however, rests entirely with the university, and conditions vary by program, quota and academic year. We confirm current admission requirements with the university before applying.
What do the fees include?+
The amounts in the table are the annual tuition fees published by the university. Accommodation, living costs, health insurance, residence permit fees and document/translation costs are not included. Why is the online program more expensive?+
Pricing is the university's own policy, and the fully online program is priced higher than the on-campus one. Our advice here is independent of price: if you plan to obtain diploma equivalence in Türkiye, we recommend considering the on-campus option, which involves being physically present in the country during your studies. Confirm YÖK's current equivalence conditions from official sources before deciding.
Do you handle the enrollment?+
No. The application, program selection and enrollment in Türkiye are handled by our solution partner. Veranova Balkans' responsibility begins once the student arrives in North Macedonia: accommodation, residence permit follow-up, setting up daily life and on-the-ground support throughout the term.
What is Gostivar like?+
Gostivar is a city in western North Macedonia, about an hour from Skopje. It is smaller and markedly more economical than Skopje; because of its scale most students can walk to campus, which largely removes transport from the budget. There is an established Turkish-speaking community in the city, easing the language barrier from day one. Housing supply, however, is narrower than in Skopje, so the search should begin early at the start of term.
